Batter up!

Tears of the Kingdom's massive open world has tons of surprises, and players keep coming up with new ways to employ their creativity even months after the release of the game. This time, a player has discovered a way to whittle down the health of the enemy, by playing a game of baseball with them. Yes, you read that right.

One of the highlights of Tears of Kingdom has undoubtedly been the numerous abilities available to the player. The fuse ability in conjunction with the ultrahand and autobuild abilities have been two of the most popular abilities players have been using to create war machines, weapons, vehicles, and tons of other stuff. Now, a player has turned Hyrule into a baseball field.

Redditor u/neffability has come up with a unique way to defeat one of the most annoying enemies in the game, the Bokoblin, as they can easily one-hit the player in the early stages of the game. However, the player counters with a taste of their own medicine. The player repels the enemy's attacks by parrying its projectile attacks which in turn, end up hitting the enemy itself. In order to pull this off the player uses the fuse ability to combine a shield with a two-handed weapon. This allows the players to use block and parry while using a two-handed weapon.

The entire sequence is pretty hilarious, to say the least, as the Bokoblin makes numerous futile attempts to hit the player and ends up inflicting damage to itself. Surprisingly, a number of players commented on the post that they weren't aware that it is possible to fuse a shield to a two-handed weapon, which is a testament to the fact that there are still plenty of things yet to be discovered in the game. While players are still using their creativity to make the most out of the game, the Bokoblin is definitely not happy engaging in this game of "Bokoball".
